“I’ve always been drawn to practicing in places where access to specialty care is limited, both internationally and here in the US. Through inReach, I’ve had the opportunity to provide urologic care at a critical access hospital, and it has reminded me why I became a physician. The hospital team was incredibly welcoming, and the patients were genuinely grateful to receive specialty care close to home. Knowing my time can make a real difference in a community with limited access has been deeply rewarding. This part-time practice also lets me keep a foot in clinical medicine while pursuing other opportunities to advance urologic care.
