inReach Health Urologist
Job Description:
The inReach Health Urologist will be a 1099 contractor with inReach servicing 4-6 rural hospitals. The physician will commit to 5 days every other week (or a total of 10 days per month). This is an ideal position for surgeons who want to travel and help rural hospitals increase their access to urological care, while living where they want. All Travel will be paid for and coordinated by inReach.
Job Details:
Physician will work with hospital medical staff, including primary care and ER providers, to establish referral patterns, align with the OR Director and Clinic Director for equipment and supply needs, and work with the inReach operations team to identify workflow issues within various hospital departments to facilitate adding a urology service line.
Compensation:
- Uncapped production-based compensation
- 30 wRVU/day guarantee
- All travel expenses paid
- State license and DEA paid
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be responsive and proactive on credentialing to ensure timely completion
- Assist with training of local OR and clinic staff on successful practices
- Maintain a regular and consistent schedule (5 days every other week or a total of 10 days per month)
- Work closely with the inReach Operations team to ensure proper scheduling and program development
- Provide feedback to the hospital and inReach regarding suggested improvements or workflow solutions
Qualifications:
- Required: At least 5 years of experience in employed or private practice
- Board Certified
- Broad based general urology background to include bread and butter urology procedures. Preferred: Active IMLC (Compact) license in good standing
- Physician Located in the Denver Front Range, Omaha/Lincoln, or Kansas City areas
Schedule:
- 2-8 days per month per program
- Potential for overnight travel
